Harry Mitterbauer has always been an athlete and a fitness aficionado. He competed in the international Alpine Ski Circuit and played soccer on various Austrian teams. Following his passion, he then obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Movement Science from the Sports University of Salzburg in Austria. He then continued with post-graduate studies at the National Academy of Sports Medicine, one of the most respected institutions in the fitness industry, receiving Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) degrees.
Harry Mitterbauer’s experience allows him to understand the needs of athletes as well as the physical and psychological demands placed on them. The knowledge he has acquired through education and certifications gives him the ability to recognize and understand the application of human movement science.
As a PES, Harry chooses integrated training to make intelligent choices with regards to training, reconditioning, and rehabilitation. This delivers impeccable results in the performance enhancement of the athlete. Integrated training components involve flexibility and balance training, core stabilization, and reactive and integrated speed training. Additionally, Harry Mitterbauer is also able to provide consultation regarding nutrition and natural sports supplementations.
As a CES, he uses a systematic process of identifying a neuro-musculoskeletal dysfunction to develop a plan of action and implements the proper corrective strategy. Harry has advanced knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully work with clients suffering from musculoskeletal impairments, imbalances, or post-rehabilitation concerns.
